Todays blog is a little different then others. While I’m usually sharing guides and places you should go and see, today I’d thought I’d share some photos from our trip a few months ago to Whidbey Island. I spent the majority of my childhood living on this island and I got to show my husband around for the first time in October. We spent time wandering around Deception Pass, Fort Casey and Ebeys Landing. Along with a few stops at my favorite childhood candy shop and breakfast place it was so special to show him the beauty of the island and relive a lot of memories. I think down the road there most will be a weekend guide to explore Whidbey, but for today just some photos of where the water meets the mountains and one of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest.
The water is so beautiful around Deception Pass.
I grew up walking distance from the wharf and downtown. Summer time we would walk down here often for ice cream or candy.
We had a great weekend overall and look forward to a few more visits especially once the weather gets nice. I will plan on sharing a weekend guide down the road, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these photos from my home island.
